Our founder grew up in a Hamilton family roofing business in the 1990s. He started Platinum Roofing & Exteriors Hamilton in 2003 with a simple promise: the roof we put on your house in 2003 should still look that way in 2028. Twenty-three years later, the roofs from 2003 are still the roofs in 2026.
We're not the cheapest roof in Hamilton. We don't pretend to be. We're the roof your grandkids will inherit. That tends to attract a particular kind of customer — homeowners who care about doing it once, doing it right, and not thinking about their roof again until they hand the house to the next owner.

A real 25-year workmanship warranty — backed by our company, not a marketing co-op. If anything goes wrong with the install in 25 years, we come back. No deductible. No hourly rate.

Founded in Hamilton
Started as a two-truck operation working out of a Hamilton east-end driveway. Three of those original crew members are still with us — now running their own crews.
- 2008
GAF Master Elite certification
Earned Master Elite status with North America's largest shingle manufacturer — a designation held by fewer than 3% of contractors.
- 2013
Commercial division launched
Brought on a dedicated commercial superintendent and expanded into low-slope and flat-roof systems for the Greater Hamilton Area.
- 2018
10,000th roof completed
Hit the ten-thousand-roof milestone, marked with a community fundraiser that put new roofs on three Hamilton homes for families in need.

20 years, zero closed warranty claims
Crossed twenty years in business with no formal warranty claims escalated to a regulator. The roofs from 2003 are still the roofs in 2026.
