Step 01: On-site assessment

Day 0 · 45 minutes on your property

On-site assessment

We climb every roof we quote. No drive-by estimates, no satellite-only quotes, no surprise add-ons later. The crew chief who'll run your job is the one writing the proposal — you meet them at this visit.

We measure rake-to-rake and eave-to-ridge with a laser, document the existing system, inspect the deck where accessible, and assess your ventilation and flashings. We take 40-60 photos plus a drone overview, all of which become part of your quote package.

What you get

  • Drone overview + ground-level photo set
  • Laser-measured dimensions
  • Deck and ventilation condition report
  • Crew-chief meeting summary
02
Step 02: Itemized written proposal

Day 1-2 · Delivered by email and printed

Itemized written proposal

Within 48 hours of the site visit, you receive a written proposal — itemized so you can compare line by line. You see every layer: deck condition, ice-and-water shield coverage in linear feet, underlayment brand, exact shingle line, ventilation balance, flashing material, and warranty terms.

No mystery line items, no "miscellaneous", no bait-and-switch. If a competitor's quote is cheaper, you'll see exactly where the difference is — usually in what they're not including.

What you get

  • Itemized written quote (PDF + printed)
  • Shingle sample(s) of your selection
  • Warranty document copies
  • Three project references in your area
03
Step 03: Tear-off, dry-in, and install

Day of install · 3-5 working days for residential

Tear-off, dry-in, and install

A typical residential roof is torn off, decked, dried-in with synthetic underlayment, and fully shingled in three to five working days. Your home is never left exposed overnight — the synthetic underlayment is fully water-tight if weather hits between tear-off day and shingle day.

We tarp every flower bed, sweep with a magnetic roller twice a day, and break down all debris into our own roll-off bin. The driveway you see in our after-photos is cleaner than the one in our before-photos.

What you get

  • Full tear-off to deck
  • Deck repair if needed
  • Synthetic underlayment + ice & water shield
  • Premium architectural shingle install
  • Twice-daily magnetic sweep
  • Roll-off bin removed within 24h of completion
04
Step 04: Final inspection with you on the ground

Final day · 30 minutes on your property

Final inspection with you on the ground

Before we leave site, we walk you around the home, hand you a binder of manufacturer warranties, and show you the final photo set drone-shot from above. You sign off only when everything is right.

If anything needs attention — a flashing line that bothers you, a piece of trim you want adjusted — we fix it before we load the truck. No "we'll come back tomorrow." Tomorrow is too late.

What you get

  • Manufacturer warranty binder (yours to keep)
  • Final drone photo set
  • Receipt of completion
  • Magnetic sweep #3 on the property

Step 05: 25-year workmanship warranty

Year 1 through 25 · One phone call away

25-year workmanship warranty

Our warranty is backed by Platinum Roofing & Exteriors Hamilton — not a marketing co-op, not a chain. If anything goes wrong with our workmanship in 25 years, we come back. No deductible. No hourly rate. No "that's outside the scope".

We also stand behind the manufacturer warranty — if a shingle defect needs to be claimed in year 12, we handle the paperwork with the manufacturer on your behalf.

What you get

  • 25-year written workmanship warranty
  • Transferable to next homeowner
  • Manufacturer claim support
  • Annual courtesy roof check available
